ERTRAC publishes its Vision 2020 and Challenges

The European Road Transport Research Advisory Council (ERTRAC) published its first brochure “Vision 2020 and Challenges” which identifies the challenges to be tackled and the research activities to be defined in order to achieve an improved European road transport system for 2020 and beyond.

The stakeholders drawn from industry, academia, the European Commission and the national governments have an ongoing mission to elaborate a Strategic Research Agenda of activities for a future characterised by efficient use of energy, air quality and environmental improvements and enhanced safety and mobility. Johann Grill, Director General, AIT/FIA Brussels sits on this Council as the voice of the European road user.
