FIA tells Tourism Ministers about 21st Century Tourists

The 5th European Tourism Forum is taking place in Limassol, Cyprus on the 16th and 17th of November. The Forum is organized by the Republic of Cyprus in association with the Finnish EU Presidency and the European Commission. The Forum's purpose is to gather together EU-level industry decision-makers, and academics to discuss European tourism issues and share best practices. The 2006 theme focuses on new opportunities for consumers, employers, investors and tourist destinations. More than 300 delegates including high-level officials and representatives of industry organisations of the tourism sector, are participating at this year's Forum.

 

Trevor Watson, CEO of the UK Caravan Club, Chairman of the FIA Ad Hoc Tourism Working Group will be making a presentation on behalf of the FIA, as a consumer representative body well placed to know the trends and needs of the 21st Century tourist.
