The President

Currently, the President of FIA Region I is Mr. Werner Kraus.

The President is elected by the Plenary Assembly for a term of 4 years. The President is ex officio Chairman of the Plenary Assembly and of the Management Council.

Born in Bratislava on the 4th May 1942.

Married, has two sons.

Graduated in 1964, after a successful study of business economics in Vienna.

Holds the title of "Diplomkaufmann" (equivalent to MBA).

2001 appointed President of the ÖAMTC.

2004 elected AIT President.

2005 elected FIA Region I President.

2007 re-elected AIT President.

2009 re-elected FIA Region I President.
